PROJECT OVERVIEW
Claymora is a pottery and ceramics brand built around the idea of raw earth, craftsmanship, and emotional connection.
The goal of this project was to create a brand that feels handmade and organic, while still being refined enough to compete in a modern design market. It needed to reflect tradition without looking outdated, and feel artistic without becoming messy or unstructured.
THE LOGO
The logo is designed using soft, irregular letterforms inspired by the natural shapes of clay and pottery.Instead of perfect geometry, the forms are intentionally uneven and fluid to reflect the handmade process behind each piece. Subtle visual elements, like pottery-inspired silhouettes integrated into the lettering, reinforce the brand’s connection to craft.
The color palette is rooted in natural, earthy tones.
Warm clay browns and terracotta shades form the foundation, directly referencing the material itself. These are balanced with muted neutrals and soft blues to add contrast and keep the identity from feeling too heavy or monotonous.

TYPOGRAPHY
The typography supports the organic nature of the logo while maintaining clarity.
A clean, minimal typeface is used for supporting text to balance the expressive logo. This contrast ensures the brand doesn’t become visually overwhelming and keeps communication clear across different touchpoints.
THE RESULT
Claymora feels tactile, warm, and human.
The identity captures the imperfect beauty of handmade ceramics while still presenting the brand in a cohesive and contemporary way. It stands out by embracing irregularity and texture, while the overall system keeps it controlled and usable across real-world applications.
